About Me

I am currently a Boeing 737 Captain at one of Canada's major airlines. I have been an airline pilot for over 17 years and prior to that I flew multiple small airplanes in different capacities. I spent time living in Northern BC and flying North from there. Over the years I've gained experience flying everything from bush charters to medevac flights in remote areas. I worked my way up from single-engine to multi-engine aircraft, from right seat to left and eventually make my way to the airline level. During all of this I started my family and am currently married to another pilot and we are raising our two children.
My
Story

As a small town girl I knew I wanted to be in the aviation industry. I wanted to travel and see new things but I didn’t know how to make it happen. I had no clue the steps that I needed to take, how long it would take or how much money it would cost me.
Why Me?
Now that I can reflect on my almost 30 years of flying I think of how much easier it would have been if I had someone to ask all my questions to. Someone with experience and maybe some insight into the questions I had and the questions I didn’t even know I had. This is why I started Blueside Aviation Consulting. I want to be the friend, big sister or mentor to people just starting in the aviation industry and aspiring to a career flying.
